Location on Maui
The Sands of Kahana is located in famous "West Maui" between Kaanapali and Kapalua. We are located close to the Kapalua West-Maui Airport, which can handle only smaller Turbo-prop type aircraft. Because of that, there are very limited flights available. Aloha Island Air serves this airport (airport code - JHM). The last flight daily departs from Honolulu at 4:40 pm which may make it difficult to make a connecting flight. If you can fly into Kapalua, do it because there are no long lines. Rental car agencies will pick you up, with a phone call, when you arrive to shuttle to their location.

Most flights into Maui arrive in Kahului, here are the directions from there:
Take Route 380 from the airport to Route 30 that goes to Lahaina, a scenic drive that is approximately 27 miles. You will travel by Lahaina and Kaanapali to Ho'ohui Road (look for Kahana Gateway Plaza on the left). Take a left on Ho'ohui Road. At the Stop sign (short distance) take a left on Lower Honoapi'ilani Road. The Sands of Kahana will be the 2nd resort on the right (next to Valley Isle).
